Bowie
Male, approx 1.5 yrs

Handsome, funny, loving Bowie has been looking for his forever home since kittenhood. He loves people and cats alike and has had no problems with any dogs that he’s met. This kitty will hang out for pets and cuddles happily but also likes his play time cat freedoms. He’s still a very young man—imagine a six year old first grade boy who is discovering the world—and everything is big and exciting!
Bowie has lived with many different cats over the months he’s been with The Cat Connection and enjoys the company of feline companions. He loves to play and may be a bit overwhelming to an older, quiet cat, but he’s not too bad at knowing when to back away from a friend who wants to relax. With people, Bowie LOVES attention! He’s fluffy and cuddly and wants ALL the skritches. If he doesn’t have a kitty friend around, he’s very clingy so, as a single cat, expect to be followed everywhere in your house! He’s never met a toy he doesn’t like or a bird he won’t dream about outside the window. He is the kitty personification of joy.
The Cat Connection has been pretty selective in looking for a home for Mr. Bobo. (Yes, we believe all kitties need at least one extra nickname.) While he’s healthy and happy, he does have a bit of an irritable bowel and needs to have easy digestion food in order to keep the litter box situation good. We’re currently using Science Diet Perfect Digestion which is NOT a prescription food and is easily available at pet stores and online. It’s a small issue to counterbalance a HUGE personality!
Bowie is waiting to give all his love to YOU!

Buddy
Male, approx 3 yrs

Gorgeous Buddy is as beautiful inside as out. He loves attention and will be a fabulous addition to any family. He’s got an even temper and a great disposition—the “surfer dude” type who’ll live and let live while soaking up all the pets and window sill sunshine. He’s also been a rock steady friend to every other cat he’s hung out with. Even our shyest kittens have been happier with calm, collected Buddy so his name is really appropriate!
Buddy is an FIV positive cat. There’s a lot of information available about FIV cats on the web but this link is a great summary. While the virus is something that any cat family needs to be aware of, many, many FIV cats live long, healthy lives in happy homes. As the article in the link above says, FIV is NOT an easily transmitted virus so there’s a very low risk of transmission and that’s ONLY cat-to-cat. People and other animals DON’T get sick with FIV.
Buddy was an outdoor colony cat in his early days and is in the process of getting some necessary dental work but everything will be done by The Cat Connection prior to adoption so he’ll be good to go and ready to fit right in to his new life with his forever family!
